Nestled in the heart of the sierras, our location offers a myriad of camping options, from secluded public sites in the woods to privately owned parks with fantastic amenities. Pinecrest Lake, a cherished destination for generations, is a mere three miles away, offering a summer paradise with swimming, boating, hiking, and camping.
Pinecrest Lake Camping is the epitome of a summer highlight, featuring boating, swimming, hiking, fishing, and outdoor movies. Two campgrounds, Pinecrest Campground and Meadowview Campground, provide the perfect settings for families. Meadowview operates on a first-come, first-served basis, while Pinecrest Campground sites can be reserved up to six months in advance on rec.gov.
Situated within walking distance of Pinecrest Lake, Pinecrest Campground offers paved parking pads, picnic tables, fire rings, and forested sites. Amenities include flush toilets, sinks, and a utility sink. While RV hookups are not available, a nearby dump station is at your disposal. Pinecrest also features water faucets with potable water, Wi-Fi within 100′ of the kiosk during posted hours, a store, restaurant, weekly outdoor movies, Sunday church services, and ranger programs.
